My 13 yr old frigidare refrigerator quit freezing in freezer and getting cold in bottom part. Fans, light still run.

You're looking at the end of the life expectancy for a refrigerator. The unit's compressor system, which forces the coolant through the coil system, is driven by a capacitor-type motor. Before doing any work on a refrigerator or freezer, make sure it's unplugged. After unplugging the unit, check to see if the motor/compressor has a capacitor; this component is located in a housing on the top of the motor. Capacitors store electricity, even when the power to the unit is turned off. Before you do any work on a capacitor-type refrigerator or freezer, you must discharge the capacitor, or you could receive a severe shock. Most likely this capacitor has gone.

Fridge & freezer not working at all

If both refrigerator and freezer are not working at all, see to it the power is functioning on the unit.
Check the convenient outlet, it must have electricity to give power to the combo unit. Also the unit light, it should lite when you open the refrigerator. For the freezer side it should have freezing ice.
It not freezing and no cold in the refrigerator, but the unit has power some indicator light is lite. The unit motor relay, overload protection and compressor should be check.
Also check for the leak in the system tubing. A tiny pinhole will cause that refrigerator and freezer not working at all.
I hope I give you idea for your unit problem.
