You should be able to get a new R12 resistor at radio shack. be VERY careful when heating the solder up to remove/replace the resistor. Hope this helps!

SOURCE: What do I need to consider before buying an elliptical trainer for our home gym?

There are quite a few factors that you need to take into consideration. These include, but are not limited to: budget, machine features and safety features. Aside from those three facets you may want to consider whether or not you are interested in extra features such as: a heart rate monitor, pre-set programming, capabilities, etc.

SOURCE: I need some replacement parts for my elliptical trainer. Where can I find them?

The first thing you should do is check with your manufacturer. Not only should you be covered by warranty, but they should have the right parts for your machine. If your warranty is expired or the manufacturer has gone out of business, you should look elsewhere for parts specific to your machine; however universal parts may also do the trick. If this is the case, you may want to consider buying used parts.

SOURCE: How do I replace the

You may have to purchase the belt from a Precor dealer in you area, if you don't have one then call Precor directly @ 1-800-347-4404 and they will help you. Most of these part have not hit the secondary market yet and Precor pretty much call the shots on whom the sell parts and support to.
There is a place on line to get some of these, it is.
The manual can be found at.
This place has manuals and user manulas along with support and some I believe this unit has a 10 yr warranty with it and the part in question may be covered by them. There is also a 1 year part warrant for other parts, I just don't know what parts they are covering for the 10 yr.

Stopped working. Does it have a fuse?

Probable cause could be your Control Board or your power supply, I would definitely check to see if that board has a fuse (most circuit boards for machines do have a fuse on them) It never hurts to visually inspect the board to see if does have one.

Before checking the board I would verify that the machines power supply is supplying the machine with enough power, if any at all and to also make sure that it is on a dedicated circuit and not a surge protector/power strip.

We would be happy to help you out in anyway :) by chat at or by phone at 888-713-2880

Chances are, if it has not been used in over a year, the battery would need to be replaced. You may be able to recharge, but more than likely the battery will not hold the charge long, if at all.
