I had yahoo7 messenger version 7. It kept signing out and no one could receive my messages. I un-installed it and re-installed version 8. Same problem. But...Id really prefer version 7.

Hi,

Is it sign in successfully ? Check your firewall settings. May be it is blocking. Allow yahoo messenger in firewall exception list.
