SOURCE: DVD not copying
It would be best to post the error message here verbatim so we can see exactly what it says.
By far most burning errors can be overcome by just slowing down your burn speed.
If you are not in a super urgent hurry, burn DVDs at 4x or lower, even 1x.
You'll get less errors, and the archival qualities of the disk itself will be much greater (ie, the data on the disk will last longer).
Ask a "knowledgable" photographer about the benefits of longer exposures with film photography - the light penetrates that little deeper giving greater depth in tonal range and detail and it's exactly the same with the laser light on 'burning' data to a disk.
Slow down.

SOURCE: DVDs I burn will not play on other players. Players reject disc
Check that the burner is finalizing the discs. This can be set in Roxio or in the optical drive properties. In Windows 7, right click on the optical drive, choose Properties, then the Recording tab. Then the Global settings lets you choose to finalize the disc on eject. Try a different brand of DVD+R and check that the other players support DVD+R discs. (I know some DVD players only support DVD-R.)
I hope this helps.
