Problem with dvd recorder

I have some how set the progressive mode on the dvd recorder by mistake and I cannot change it back. I only have int set on the dvd display. The television comes up with half black and half white. I can't find anything to help me change the setting.

checkout the OSD mode in your remote control, you can adjust the size in you DVD.
