I would guess that this means that you have a power problem, if I knew the model I could help more, but maybe you are using more power than can be inputed in the same amount of time.

How to turn flash off

You didn't say what camera you have so I can only give you a generic answer. Press the button with the lightning bolt icon and watch the screen. When you see a lightning bolt with a diagonal line through it, you've turned off the flash.

My flash does not seem to be working, I tried just about everything but it wont work. it all started when I pressed reset im pretty sure, but im not postive. please help me.

Pressing reset would not disable your flash. On the screen, does a lightning bolt icon appear? Is there a letter A or the word auto next to it? Or does the lightning bolt have a diagonal line through it? In any case, press the button on the back of your camera with the picture of the lightning bolt until the lightning bolt with "A" or "auto" appears next to it on the screen.

I have sony cyber-shot 5.0 mega pixels camera 4x optical zoom. someone turned off for my my flash when my baby was just few days old and now I have no idea how to turne it back on.

There should be a button on the back with a lightning bolt. Press that while watching the screen. When you see a lightning bolt appear with an "A" next to it, you will be on auto flash.
