Error code U8-6 on Xerox 5320 copier

When I push copy button the display reads error code U8-6 and paper jams just out of tray.

U8-6 suggests low or No light being picked up by the ccd.Does the Scan lamp come on at all?
Yes.?..clean mirrors and underside of platen glass (there is a white reference strip which must be clean
N?.lamp failure or reset the thermostat push button on lamp carriage (disconnect power, this can bite!)

dear sir please check the exposure lamp unit may be it is dusty so clean it or check exposure lamp circuit fuse etc....
