Visit the philips website and found your product. Download the device manager program and install it to your computer. Run the program, keep pressing the 'return' button and put into the pc's usb. Keep pressing, the device manager program will find the device and then you can solve the problem by the program.

What you are going to want to do is make sure the printer is not plugged in to your computer. You want to download the appropriate software for printer. Just go here: http://downloads.lexmark.com/perl/downloads/downloads.cgi?ccs=229:1:0:0:0:0 Run the software for your printer and when it tells you to (or when it finishes) you can plug in your printer.

If you plugged your printer in and tried to go through the "Add New Hardware" wizard and it wasn't able to find a driver, you may need to go in to the Device Manager and remove the unknown device, unplug the printer, and re-plug it back in.
