I cannot find any dip switches on the remote receiver. Kichler fan 35170 - receiver AC8.3.T

Auto correct messed up my previous response so I'll try again.

To change the frequency for the remote on Kitchler Barrington model IS 35170, they've made it the easiest of any I've ever seen.

All you do is this:
1. Open the remote (transmitter) and change any one of the DIP switches found inside.
2. Turn on the power to your fan
3. Press the button with the light icon on it (on the remote control) and hold it down (3 seconds or so) until the light on the fan flashes 3 times which confirms your new setting has been accepted.

That's it! You're good to go!

Light will not stay on kichler fan

Hey there, how's it going? Do you know which model of ceiling fan you have? Whether you do or don't, that's OK - I was going to suggest checking out this site below which has Kichler fan manuals available. If you don't find the one you need, let us know and we'll take a look for you through some other sites.

I need remote control for for kichler fan model # 35005

THIS ITEM NUMBER IS INCORRECT. THERE SHOULD BE ATLEAST 1 MORE NUMBER FOLLOWED BY A COUPLE OF LETTERS. IF YOU CAN POSSIBLY FIND THE CORRECT NUMBER I CAN HELP BY GETTING YOU A PART NUMBER FOR THE CORRECT REMOTE THAT WILL BE NEEDED. PART NUMBERS ON FANS ARE CONSISTENTLY FOUND ON THE CANOPY, THIS IS THE PART WHERE YOUR FAN MOUNTS TO THE CEILING. I CALLED OUR REP AT KICHLER AND SHE SAID THIS WAS AN INCOMPLETE NUMBER. HOW OLD IS THE FAN IN QUESTION? ITS POSSIBLE IT MAY BE DISCONTINUED IS WHY WE CANT COME UP WITH ANYTHING.

How to reverse kichler ceiling fan, UC7206T

Stock Kichler ceiling fan c. 2006, works with replacement remote control 337001WH hand-held unit from Amazon 2013. Started running backwards when two remotes were activated at the same time by accident. Random button pushing on two remotes simultaneously got it to go back to forward. (Apparently original remote hand-held transmitter had forward/reverse setting, but the substitute 337001WH transmitter doesn't. When two transmitters run at the same time, the fwd/rev code may be decoded in the collisions at the receiver. Thank goodness!)

I CANT OPEN MY SENTRY FIRE-SAFE MODEL:DS3431 SAFE. I KEEP TRYING TO DO WHAT THEY SAY DO TURN DIAL TO ZERO, TURN KEY ETC; NUTHING IS WORKING. CAN U HELP?

Make sure that the key barrel is all the way out. Then replace this example code with your factory code and try it
Example combination: 70-55-05

  1. Do two rotations to the left stopping at 0.

  1. Do two rotations to the left (Anti-clockwise) on the third time past 0 go to your first number.

So – 0 to 0, 0 to 0, 0 to 70

  1. Do one rotation to the right (clockwise) on the second time round stop at your second number.

So – 70 to 70, 70 to 55

  1. Turn directly from your second number to your third number heading to the left.
So – 55 to 05

  1. Push down the handle.

I set temp to 74 and stop at 70 and decresing.

The only thing I can think of other than being just old and worn out is that by design it may not be set to run but so much at a time. Has this always done this since you have had it? It may be needing calibration. One thing you can try is to set it at 2 degrees higher than you want it and then it would shut off at the temp you actually want.
