When calls come in, the name is announced. How do I reset to ring tone

Hi, My LG chocolate works fine, except I don't know what happened but every time call comes in, I get the name of the caller as I have stored it in my contact list announced instead of the ring tone. How can I change it back to get the ring tone?

Remove the voice dial information, or turn it off. Best of Luck.

Lg chocolate touch screen not working

I have a LG Chocolate BL 40. It fell down and cracked its display screen from several loactions. So I got a the cracked display screen replaced with a new one. All seems to be working fine except that when the call comes the answer button which used to display as green gets greyed out and does not lets you answer the call. I have tried upgrading the software as well as a factory reset bit it has not helped. C
Can somebody advise how/if it can be fixed?

We have a lg chocolate bl20 and every hour the phone makes a short tone noise, we have tried everything but we cant turn this short tone off can you help

Hi - mine did the same and several calls to their helpline later, I think I've figured it out! Go to Settings, Profiles, and you get a list of what rings you want. Whichever one you want, select it then press Options, and then Personalise. Scroll down and number 7 says Hourly Signals. Select 'Off'. That seems to have sorted mine - hope this helps!

Had to reset the phone. on in-coming calls it used to say the persons name, where is that set-up

LG Xenon - for adjusting the audible caller announce feature: hit the options menu in the top right corner and select call alert, you can set the phone to announce the name or number of the person calling/texting before the ring.

keywords: call, caller, audible, announce, announcement, announcing, loud, alert, name, person
