You may have a dirty connection in your low fuel warning switch located in the gas tank.You need to find the switch that is screwed into the bottom of the gas tank and take the wiring harness loose there.Clean it and look for any bare wires or nicks or bad connections.if this still doesnt fix the issue you may need to get a new low fuel warning switch from the dealer and reinstall.The best way would be to take the tank off and invert it so gas doesnt come pouring out when you take off the switch.The tank should have one or two bolts or wingnuts at the end nearest your seat,take those out,disconnect the fuel lines and the tank should slide off.
