If you own an iPod touch, you have the option to set a password, which Apple calls a passcode, to protect your data.
Anyone who attempts to access your iPod, after unlocking it or turning it on, will require the passcode to do so.
However, if you forget your passcode or incorrectly enter it, you will eventually see an alert that your iPod touch has become disabled.
To unlock your iPod touch after forgetting the passcode, and still access your content, you must connect it to the computer with which you last synced it.

Connect your iPod touch to the computer with which you last synced the music player.
Launch iTunes if it does not automatically open.
Select your iPod touch under the devices list, and click the "Summary" tab in iTunes.
Click "Restore" and, when prompted, click the "Back Up" button to save a back up of your iPod touch in iTunes.

Click "Restore" when prompted, after the back up saves. After restoring, click "Ok."
Choose the most recent back up from the drop down list on the "Set Up Your iPod" screen.

Click the "Continue" button to restore your iPod touch.

hi friend,
  • Issue – Bottom half of iPhone touch screen does not work.
Solution - Standard troubleshooting steps in order are power the iPhone off and on, Reset, Restore from backup, Restore as a new iPhone or not from backup and if no change after any or all, call Apple Care – (800) 694-7466 or make an appointment at an Apple Store to have this checked if there is one nearby.
  • Issue - iPhone “touch screen” dead.
Solution - Connect your phone to iTunes and do a full restore, it will replace all information on your phone prior to your last syn. If it doesn’t help call Apple Care – (800) 694-7466.
  • Issue - The top half of my iPhone screen is not working at all
Solution - If restore doesn’t work – you could schedule online an appointment with a genius at an Apple store

  • Issue – My screen cracked. How much would it cost to get it replaced?
Solution - Terrible situation but Apple doesn’t warranty the glass. This would be a minimum of $250 to get fixed out of your pocket.

When you go to the screen to input the address it should have a recent locations option, if not you need to re-enter the adress.

How do i delete send to-Recent contacts

you just go to "send message" option, then select "picture mail", then go to "recent list", click OK, then select the person you want to delete and click on "options" and click on "delete". It will then delete that person from your recent list. I just did this and it works.

Setting destinations on a prius gps

ok hit the destination button on the side of the screen it will provide you with options on how you would like to input your dest. decide if you would like to enter the adress of and destination or you can can also input the destination by the name lets say you were looking for wal mart you would enter wal mart in the poi name screen (poi stands for point of interest) it will then bring up a list of the closest wal marts to you also telling you the distance and direction you would then hight the one you want to go to on the touoch screen obviously by touching it and then hitting the enter button that will highlight red i believe on the bottom of the screen your last option is to serch by poi category you would hight poi categoury on the destination screen it will then bring up a screen of categories such as health care and hospital police and fire stations government buildings such as city halls libraries post offices court house things like that there is a shoping category you would pick clothing department stores and such there is one for closest service shop gas stations recreation such as parks golf courses and such once you decide wich category you want you simply hit show list that will highlight on the bottom of the screen and it will show you a list of the closest things in that category to you
