Question about 3Com OfficeConnect ISDN Lan Modem Router
I just purchased this 3com modem new. I have hooked everything up as stated in the instructions. When I pull my web browser to get the wizard to set SPID numbers and access controls, it just says "page not found". Thats just the problem, Im not running IE 3.1, I have IE 7, I also am not running Win95, I have XP home. and when i try to connect to the modem through 192.168.1.1, absolutly nothing happens, it is connected, and it is powered up. But all it does is cycle. nothing more nothing less. Please help. Thanks.
Are you cable user? register the modem's mac address to Internet service provider. make sure that the Local area connection IP address of you PC is not static.
