Your video card doesn't process sound, so of course, no sound will be passed on to the HDMI cable from the DVI output, as there is no sound to be passed on.
To get sound, you'll need to plug in an audio cable from your computers speaker output, and hook that up to your TV using your choice of connection (be it fiber optic, or 1/8in audio cable).
