Re: Problem with my E250

Perform this step, press and hold the menu button for at least 30-45 seconds then wait for aroun 10-15 seconds before turning on the player. If it did not work, remove the battery from the player and adjust its position/connectors to the player. If again it did not work try using a different battery for the player it maybe your battery died out.

After charging my MP3 player it appears fully charged but it will only play for about an hour and the battery runs down. i have recharged it again, same thing. now what?

The very first time you charge your battery YOU MUST CHARGE IT FULLY!!! If you didn't, that is probably the problem.

Also, even if you charge the player for just a couple of minutes it will APPEAR to have a fully charged battery when it actually doesn't.

Most portable media devices require at least 20 minutes to an hour to fully charge whether the screen shows that it is fully charged or not.

When I disconnet the sync cord and go to turn on the sansa e-250 it doesn't turn on

Make sure player is fully charged. 1. Connect the player to the PC. 2. Make sure the computer detects the player.
NOTE: If needed, switch the player to MSC mode, then connect it to the PC.
3. Leave the player connected for approximately 2 hours to charge. 4. Disconnect the player from the PC. 5. Verify if you can turn on the player. 6. Reset the player if necessary.

SOLUTION 2 - Reset the player. Resetting the player: 1. Slide and hold the Power switch up for approximately 20 seconds. 2. Release the Power switch. 3. To turn the player on, slide the Power switch up then release instantly.+

When i connect my sansa clip 2gb it will not charge. it say connected and then goes off. I thought it was charging but when i checked it the battery had died what do you suggest i do to get it working...

Check for the following:

USB Cable
Make sure that the USB cable is properly plugged in and use the original cable.

Computer in Hibernation mode
Make sure the computer isn’t entering hibernate or sleep mode while the device is connected.  The computer must be on in order to charge your player.

USB Port 2.0
Make sure the player is connected USB 2.0 port (1.1 occasionally causes charging problems).

USB Port location
Try plugging in different USB port (i.e. USB port in the back of the computer); sometimes the front USB ports have problem charging up the device.

Make sure the battery is fully charged.  It takes approximately 3 hours to fully charge the battery.

Latest firmware
Make sure to update firmware by downloading and installing the Sansa Firmware Updater

Sansa MP3 player charges, plays while plugged into wall, but not unplugged.

When you plug it into the wall make sure you turn it off and let it charge all the way before you start using it again. see if that helps
