Micro SD Not Reading

I installed a 128 MB Kingmax Micro SD in my A1200 and when I try to transfer files ( videos, pics, mp3's) under 128 MB through Moto Phone Tools it tells me "Not Enough Memory" why? If there is enough memory in there? I called Motorola Tech Support and they told me that A1200's only take San Disk Micro SD's, So I went to Best Buy and bought myself a 1GB Micro SD San Disk Card and know the phone wont even recognize it? It doesnt show the little SD Card Icon on top of the main screen. Can someone please help me with this , its really frustrating?? Thank you..

    To all A1200 Motoming Owners,

Be aware that although Motorola Suggests that you use SanDisk Micro SD's, they will probably not work in some phones. Most people think that all Micro SD's are the same, NOT TRUE

I suggest you try a different manufacturer, because these SD cards are programmed a little differently inside. I tried 2 different SanDisk Micro SD's and they did not read on my phone.

I installed a PNY and when I turned the phone on it immediately recognized it. I am using a 1 Gig PNY Micro SD and it works beautiful. Hope this solves that problem for you a1200 users.

    Good Luck....

Be sure you inserted it properly, but if the problem still persist, then your micro card is defective.

How do i transfer music from my computer into my lg vantage

I don't know what LG does, but my poor man's file transfer for my motorola was to format the micro SD card so it created my music folder, then I dragged mp3 files to that folder and inserted the memory into my cell.

I see that the Vantage has provisions for a micro SD, so I guess you can do the same. I grabbed a 512 MB with adapter for $8 at the local general store.

Micro SD Krzr Won't read pictures

After installing your SD chip in the phone, the KRZR should have created some new folders on your chip. Move the pictures and MP3s currently on your chip from the folders where your old phone stored them to these new folders my_pix and my_music. Should work fine.

Sandisk e200 2GB

The package should include the Sansa Media Converter to convert all your pictures and video formats that the player will recognize.

Or you can transfer the files to a Micro-SD and plug it directly into the player.

Treo 650 new user - SD memory needed for MP3?

Hello, welcome to Brighthand. Definetely 512 MB or 1 GB. For a 128 Kilobits rate (quality), 1 MB = 1 Minute. Of course you can lower the bit rate, but you will have lower quality.
