The Opal has a reset hole on the back of the unit in which a toothpick (non metallic) can be inserted to reboot the player.
If this does not work, I suggest that you reformat the player by using the WindowsTM format command on the unit. To reformat the memory

  1. Right click on the device within the Explorer or My Computer window
  2. Select the format command (full format) to reformat the internal memory of the device.
  3. Reinstall the firmware from

Needs to format and I do not know how.

To format it Connect it to the computer, go to My computer-> right click on the mp3/mp4 player after it is displayed-> select format-> Format it as FAT32 File system. Formatting the MP3/MP4 player will delete all the songs/data from the player. So, backup all data before formatting it. Hope this helps...

Hi There, Format the unit, if that does not help, then you need to have the unit replaced. You are encountering internal hardware failure. Thanks, Mike

Dear sir I dont know how too download videos on to my mp3 player could you help me

First and Foremost. You can never download videos to your Mp3 player unless yours is an ipod 80gb which has got Wi-fi access.
Secondly, videos are transferred the same way music files are transferred. Only difference is that you need to know which video file format does your Mp3 player Support. After knowing the file format, if you convert the videos into those format and then transfer the videos to the mp3 player, i am sure they will work.....I hope this solves your problem. This applies to any brand of Mp3 player.

Format error

It's an unsupported file format. Are you trying to play files that were ripped in I-tunes? I-tunes does not make mp3s, it makes m4a files, which are not supported. Make sure the files you put on this player are mp3 files. You can also use wma files, but you will probably need to use Windows Media Player to transfer those files.

Let me know how you get on & shout if you need more help!

Not powering ON..getting switched off Transcend T.sonic 610 MP3 PLayer

Do NOT format it -- I did a complete format as another user suggested and now it only appears to be useful as a pen drive. It will not play anything and I've tried reinstalling the firmware and it doesn't even recognize that it's an mp3 player so I can't install it!

Transcend T.sonic 610 MP3 Player 2 GB

T.sonic cannot operate after it was formatted in Windows
Formatting T.sonic using the “Quick Format” or “Full Format” option in Windows destroys the
default format of the T.sonic. To retrieve the default format, you must link to and download the firmware updates for the T.sonic.
