Your card might be a little dirty and needs cleaning in the metallic parts where it connects to your phone. If your card is too old it might need to be replaced by your phone company. Try and insert another SIM from a friend and see if it works. Also please try to insert YOUR SIM in another phone and see if it is OK. If it works in another phone then the problem might be with your phone's connectors.

Insert sim card

I'm not sure what the question is you are asking concerning a "sim card" but if it's How to put a SIM card in your cell phone you need a pin to put in the hole and it will pop open, However if your question is that your phone keeps telling you to insert a SIM card then you need to turn off your phone first and then go into the place where it's at and remove the SIM card and then put it back in and then turn your phone back on.

Even I inserted the sim card phone shows Insert sim card? How to solve it?

Well it is either a problem with the SIM card or the phone. First you should test out your SIM card.

Put the SIM in a friend's phone. If you put the SIM card in this other phone but it still says insert sim card, then it is the SIM that is no good. If the SIM works fine in the other phone, it would be the phone that is the problem.

My i856 is keeps telling me to insert the sim card even when the sim is already in the phone. Can some one please help me with this problem? Thanks so much

if your phone tells you to insert sim card, try another sim with the phone if that sim card work with the phone that means your phone is bad and if it does not work, you clean the sim seat with a brush and a methylated and dry it up for 30 minutes, if the problem continues change the sim seat.

If after changing the sim seat the problem continues then you have to flash the phone.

flashing of phone is done with a computer using the software you can see a technician to put you through.

If you do not remember the password for your privacy lock / phone lock then you will need to master reset the phone and that will reset the password back to the default password 00000000 (eight zeros). Please follow the steps below...

NOTE: Following the steps below will delete everything from the phone memory like contact numbers, images, music, messages.

1. Switch OFF the phone and take the SIM card out.

2. Switch it ON without the SIM card, the phone will say “insert SIM card”.

3. Enter the code *2767*2878# and wait for 10-20 seconds until the phone restarts automatically.

4. Now the phone will say “insert SIM card” again, put the SIM card back in and switch it ON.
