Strong red tint with horizontal lines across screen

Hi, I was watching tv and all of a sudden the screen got a strong red tint along with horizontal lines across the screen, I shut off the tv and cable and everything and when I turned the tv off it went to a red line and then shut off, when I turn it back on, it's the same red with horizontal lines. What could this mean?

Blue tint across screen and black shadow of sort

Hi , it seems you are experimenting a light engine problem. Here's how your tv works: Basically there's 3 LCD chips that create the colors and image by blending together. When these chips start to melt you will get those blue spots, pixilation even vertical lines. You will need to replace the light engine. Have a blessed one!

Red lines across bottom portion of screen

usually strong magnets like those in speakers cause lines on tvs if placed to close to the tv.
so demagnitizing the screen should work .
you may have to take it into a pepair shop to do this.
but if thats not the problem. you moe than likely are seeing a common problem of tv screen burn out. and these new tvs tend to burn out faster than the old ones did.
