MY nokia n73 phone working properly but not vibration running

My dear, maybe you or some one else mistakingly changed the profile. All you have to do is, select the menu button on your phone, select SETTINGS, select PROFILES, select GENERAL OR LOUD, select OPTIONS AND PERSONALIZE, then select style to VIBRATION,RINGTONE, VOLUME and every other thing you wish to adjust. AFTER WICH, select ACTIVATE PROFILE. hope that works

Perhaps your phone is in Silent mode. make sure your phone is in general mode by entering the menu and then go to settings then go to profile and just edit General settings and set everything to ring and vibrate and then activate General mode, for an easier way just press the power button once on top of your phone and enter general mode.

if all does not seem to work try this method, SAVE ALL YOUR IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS into your memory card then on the home screen typ " *#7370# " and this should restore everything for your phone in new condition.

If that number doesnot work try " *#7870# "

That is a great phone.
The nokia menu system is confusing - when you change from 'silent' to 'normal' to 'outdoor' or any other setting, the entire ring profile changes.
I think what you have done is switch profile to a setting where the vibrate is not set to on.
simply go into the menu, select vibrate, and turn setting ON.
be aware that if you change from this setting, it may go OFF again.

do this ..in your menu go to PROFILES >GENERAL >PERSONALIZE > press down look for VIBRATING ALERT > CHANGE and SELECT ON...
then go back to main menu ,PROFILES >GENERAL and ACIVATE..

Look in Profiles -General - Options - Personalise - Ringing volume.
You will have to set the volume and Ringing tone for every profile ( General,Meeting,Outdoor.... ).
You can find Profiles in Menu - Tools - Profiles.

To change the Nokia 6133 to ring, do the following-

Select Menu > Settings > Profiles > Select any one profile that is available in your mobile. (Ex. General)

1. Menu > Settings > Profiles > General > Personalise > Incoming call Alert > Ringing


2. Menu > Settings > Profiles > General > Personalise > Vibratibng Alert > Off

After this activate the profile(Ex. General)
Menu > Settings > Profiles > General > Activate

After this the phone will only ring and wont vibrate.
If you want both then change the vibrating alert to On.

Download and install Nokia PC Suite and Nokia Software Updater available from Nokia.com, once installed use PC Suite to backup everything you need on your phone...

Make sure a working sim is inserted into the phone and General profile is selected, plug in the charger and turn the phone on, once fully started plug in the USB cable and run Nokia Software Updater, it will pick up the phones current version and download any updates...

let me sole it by steps do it step wise
press
1. menu 2. profiles 3. general 4. personalize
then move down to incoming call alert than select off
and move vibration select on

did i solve the problem

format ur fone


1) turn ur phone off

2) press green call button + 3 + * and turn it on keep holding these buttons see if its solved



NOTE:- back up ur data first on pc

Follow this steps in the given order -
1) Switch off your phone
2) Remove memory card
3) Switch on your phone
4) Ask a friend to send you a message. Now you will hear the tone
5) Switch off, insert the memory card & switch on again
6) Ask someone to send a message again. It will work
