My mp3 player will not charge on my computer, but it will charge on other computers. It used to charge on mine, but it stopped about a month ago. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software, and nothing has helped. My mp3 is new (I have only had to charge it 2 whole times) and I would like to know the general idea of what is wrong.

The MP3 player is charged by connecting the supplied USB cable to the
MP3 player and then plugging the other end of the USB cable into the USB
port of a working computer. This cable is also used to copy music files, video and photos to the MP3 player from the computer.
connect your samsung to a computer usb, go to my computer, check for removable e or f , with the samsung connected go on the net and type search samsung k3 mp3 player software. the computer it self will select a software to down load.
I left this message for another user, check your manual, only certain OS will work with the YP-K3. I have a windows 2000 box at work and mine will not recharge on it, but it will on my windows xp box at home .....
well have had my k3 die on me once, pressed reset on the back and it worked again (this in the it doing nothing anymore case) as for the cgarging thing try it on another computer, when I charge my k3 at work it charges all day but I don';t get a full battery, at home I charge it for bout 2 to 4 hours to get full battery. I think it has something to do with ho many things u have connected to ur usb ports or how much output ur computer gives to ur usb, maybe it goes to like a lower voltage to preserve electricity, no idea how to change this but unplug unneccecary things.
Reload the firmware from the Samsung website: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/search/supportSearchResultView.do?group=&group_cd=&type=&type_cd=&subtype=&subtype_cd=&model_nm=&dType=D&vType=L&mType=&model_cd=&menu=guides&prd_ia_cd=&acc_ia_fl=&disp_nm=YP-K3JAB&isEqualsY=Y#
