Fairly old but reliable electric dryer that just stopped working. There is a buzz when I push start button.... but nothing else. I checked the belts. They look fine. Maytag DE410

- My dryer was working fine and all of a sudden when I put another load in it stopped turning. The lint tray is clean and when you turn the dryer on it just makes a buzzing noise. my husband checked the belts but has no idea what it could be. Please help- dljpBest Solution

does this drum go round, if not replace the capacitor which in most models is fastened to the main motor, if this doesn't cure the fault you could be looking at a replacement motor, assuming you have checked for any jamming of the drum, does it rotate be hand as well
