SA-HT800V Home Theater

The unit will not stay on when the woofer cable is plugged in - it blinks on for a second then dies out. What do you think this might be? Thanks, JP

RE: SC-HT800V I need a replacement remote control unit. Our system works perfectly, but we need the remote to be able to use the system toit's full potential. Please tell me where I can find one.

There are a number of sites that offer replacement remotes but Panasonic also lists two sites. They are:

Interesting that someone would build a unit with AM/FM which is only accessable with the remote.

I hooked up the Panasonic sa-ht800V Home Theater Audio System SA-HT800V to an old tv the only hook up is the coaxial cable i turned TV to channel 3 and i get picture from the dvd is the a setting a need to...

Look at Page 12 if your TV only has RF coaxial antenna input...

Add in the Video cable (included) if the TV has an input for it and you'll be able to manage the SA-HT800 through the TV.

Make all the other necessary selections prescribed in the manual.

After about 5 min my system turns itself off

hi the problem your having could be one of a couple of things the first to check is that all the speaker wires a fitted correctly and not come out of socket as a speaker wire shorting could give you the problem your having.
The second and most likely problem is going to be a problem with the amp part of the circuit board usually a blown resistor but in your case as the unit comes on for few minutes then the chances are its just a solder joint failing on the board this causing the unit to trip out as a safety measure to stop it setting on fire.
Check the sub woofer cable is fitted properly as this is the usuall problem with you make and model let me know when you have checked all of this ok
