Question about byD sign d:4232 42 in. HD-Ready Plasma Television

No picture I have a byd:sign 42 in plasma model d:4232, the power light comes on blue when plugged in and stays blue but no picture. I have swapped the power board with a workign plasma but still no picture, I'm told possibly a "Y driv board" Any thoughts

I have a bydsign 42inch plasma (d:42hdco1) red power lights on but when i turn it on light turn blue for a second then it goes red again no picture

Btw for anyone experiencing these problems with the infamous "is-lcdtv32" byd:sign is the same manufacuterer as insignia, its the same company with a different sticker. i know this isnt a solution, but parts for all discontinued insignia';s can be purchased thru byd:sigh(by design). hope this helps .

Need to get parts for byD:sign lcd m#D:4242m


I bought 40 byd:sign 23" LCD screens from them about 1 year ago and installed them in a hospital enviorment. The sets are starting to fail. Do you have an address or phone number for them? I would be greatful for any help.

Blackout problems


It could be the LVDS cable that is connected between the logic main board and the main board, sometimes this cable is too short and comes loose from one of the boards, it could also be a sign that the logic main is going out or the panel itself is shorting out
