I haven't been able to find a photo anywhere of this bag. Probably from years ago, in excellent, excellent condition. Like a small tote. Golden beige signature fabric with dark brown leather bottom, 2 leather handles and leather shoulder strap, attached with gold loops. Band of leather across the top of the bag, with GIVENCHY in gold relief. The bag is longer than it is tall, but when closed, the top edge is pulled in on either end by 2 leather tabs held together by 2 gold Givenchy snaps. Zippered pocket inside with Givenchy label on brown leather beneath the zip. Two open pockets on the other inner side, one with an elasticized upper edge. I'd love to learn more about this bag and when it was made, etc. Can anyone help?
As with any high end piece the sewing will be exceptional. never vinyl or plastic. look for the correct color of ink and thread, look for straight edges and alignment when sewing on brand logo. it should look like the real thing, not off set or the wrong color. stiching will never overlap haphazzardly, if you wet the leather, it will dry if real. if you wet the leather and it does not change colors and dry it is plastic or man made. high end comes in a bag or box. now remember those are knocked off too. but they will look like it. the bag will be made of paper fabric on real fabric. check how the price tag is attached, NEVER with a plastic attachement. pretty much plastic is not going to touch the bag. so handles, buckels, bag itself will not be stored or wrapped in plastic.
Have you checked Ebay or Amazon? How about Googling "Givenchy" then go from there? I hope this helps a bit.
