Question about Creative Labs ZEN V Plus MP3 Player
I have owned my Zen y Plus since late Aug. at which time I downloaded music from Yahoo music jukebox. Everything has worked fine for the last 6 weeks or so. After recharging my zen yesterday now I get the error No license to Play/ sync license from pc. I have recharged before with no problems. Only difference this time was I had cancelled my 2 week free trial from Yahoo Music and I also just installed Zone Alarm on my PC. Troubleshooting recomended from Yahoo music was to remove 'Hotfix for Windows Media Format 11 SDK(KB929399) reboot comp. and reinstall. I did this with no luck resolving the problem. I then went to Yahoo music and tried to reacquire the license on all the music, then getting a message saying that the pc limit reached cannot be activated for downloading. Yahoo has no customer service # or e-mail,so I feel my only option at this point may be to delete all the music and start over with another provider. If you have any suggestions they would be very helpfull. Thanks Diane
You have too many machines logged into your Yahoo Music. Only 3 computers can have access. There is a process to turn it off in your options.

Have you tried updating the firmware of your Zen V Plus? I've had mine for almost an year and haven't had these issues -- I updated the firmware as soon as I unpacked it.
try downloading the MP3 player recovery tool from Creative's website (the tool contains the latest firmware update available -- 1.15.03). Plug your ZV+ into your PC, run the program and let it update the firmware. Then format, reload your music and try it.
