When ever I look at a video on my laptop I can hear the sound good but when i plug my earphones up it sounds funny u can hear them talk but it sounds funny i upgraded my sound still no change my earphones or new and i got them tested what should i do.

I would guess there is a fault with with the earphone jack socket, the soldering to the printed circuit board or perhaps some of the electronic components that might or might not provide attenuation and/or tone correction for the earphones.

Probably be a cheaper cure to use bluetooth.

I use a usb FM transmitter so my sound files can be played on any nearby FM radio.

this sound me speaker problem, show some repairer to change it or maybe no need to change just disambley and ressambly the device. please can you explain in detail more your problem and your mobile reference,so i can help you perfectly.

My guess is a problem with the headphones themselves. Is the jack pushed in all the way. Are they stereo headphones.

You can't remove your proper, Now put your earphone and start the player, now you hear the music, and sound, now off your music play and plug out your earphone, now surely you get the sound.

If you have left the earphone plugged in to the laptop for a long time, this may have bent the contacts in the socket, and stopped the speakers from working.

The simple damage your laptop and here is you can not move but the socket earphone / headset of your laptop,the opening of outlets are you have seen lock switch is you just poke a gently using the little things like the end of ball pen.good luck and hopefully helped revenue

Try pressing the sound up button on the top of the keyborad. There are 3 buttons sound up, sound down and mute. It appears that the sound control on windows is independant of the buttons.

First ensure that the headphones are working, by testing them on a divverent devices.

Ensure that computer has sound from speakers, if computer has not sound at all , then you need to reinstall audio drivers.

Then restart the computer with earphone plugged in, this solves a bios control related problem.

If still no luck, than you may have a broken solder joint on the Jack socket, in that case the repair must be done by a technician.

ok so i have an env phone myself and just today that same thing happened to me. i could only hear my ringtones if someone would call me or text me but i couldnt hear them and they couldnt hear me. so what i did was just closed my phone and on the front of the phone there is that clr button in between the send button and power button and i could hear that lady start talking so i just kinda went up and down on the options. and now i can hear people and talk to them so just try that and hopefully it works for you.

Try putting in earphones and check. Sometimes the contact inside the earphone jack jams against each other and then the phone thinks there are earphones plugged in thus bypassing the speaker.
