Keurig Special Edition B60

My coffe maker doesn't fill the cups up. It seems as if they fill about 1/2 the amount it should.

I too have a problem with my Keurig B60 unit. It is new this Xmas, and while it generally works fine, it does not consistently fill the cup i.e., the stated 5 oz, etc. is usually less than that amount - same with the other 2 options. I have tried just running H2O through - same result. Also, have tried it after the machine has been on for many hours with no use (like overnight w/unit on), as well as after just being used - same inconsistent results. The manual does not indicate any "setting" for coffee volume adjustment - am I missing something? Is there something else I need to do?

I've had my Keurig Special Edition B60 for almost two years and just recently the same problem occurred. It doesn't fill the cup all the way up and often just seems to stop in the middle of the brewing process. I have tried "descaling", cleaning all the parts including the needle, etc. and nothing seems to work. Looking for a solution.............

My cups are being filled up inconsistently. If I just run water without the K-cup, it fills fine. I've done the vinegar wash without much change.

Same problem! With no k-cup inserted, the correct amount of water flows through the machine. With a k-cup in place, sometimes 3 oz of coffee will come through. Invariably, the next "6 oz" serving will overflow the cup! I have already descaled w/ vinegar, but that did not help.

My Keurig is about 18 mos old, and recently started not filling the entire cup and also producing "phantom" cups, where it'll start brewing on its own, several minutes/hours after we've pressed the brewing button. I've tried descaling about 20 times, letting it sit for several hours to overnight, but still the same result. I love my Keurig but what is wrong?

Hello,

I assume your coffe maker used to produce more coffee for each use. Roughly 6 ounces per large cup, and now is only making 3 oz. cups.

If your coffee maker is sputtering and not able to "suck" enough water to fill your cups of coffee it is most likely due to cavitation caused in the little pump due to a stoppage, which is most likely lime or scale buildup somewhere in the pump line.

To fix it, don't take your coffee maker apart. Get a bottle of distilled white vinegar, and pour it straight into the empty water resevoir. Press brew with no coffee pod so you are just running the vinegar through the system. Pour the vinegar out of the cup and back into the resevoir. Add some ice to cool it off. Repeat about 10 times. This should clear out the toughest lime scale clog.

After you notice the cups are filling full of water, Replace the vinegar with fresh water. Run about 5 or 6 cups of fresh water through the system to get rid of the vinegar.

Make coffee/tea/whatever.

When I press for a large cup, it doesn't seem to fill in with as much coffee as before. I only seem to get a small amount each time.

When I use or attempt to have the Keurig serve a large cup, the coffee flow starts then slows down to a drop or two, cup not even half full along with coffe grans in cup.

I had the same problem and my Keurig is only two months old. I read advice from another user and called Keurig this morning. They are replacing the unit for me within 3 to 10 days. All they asked for was the serial number, which is very easy to find. Good luck!

My keurig coffee maker dos'nt stay on it will make one cup of coffee then shut itself off I have to keep turning on until you can hear the water heaing up and it also seems noisy I have only had this coffe...

There is a design flaw with the new Keurig units. They don't always draw water after brewing a cup. Some people say the company is using a weaker pump so they are less noisey. Some success if you remove water tank and drop it securly back in place. This seems to unstick the vavle.
