Problem for GE DWSR405EBWW / DWSR405EBCC Electric Dryer

Dryer won't start spining the drum

We have a GE dryer 7 years old and yesterday my wife said that it doesn't work. I tried to turn it on but I can hear that the motor is tring to move the drum and nothing happans.It's just this noise coming from I guess the motor. The drum doesn't move. Is it a belt or something more complicated. Thanks

The belt is the likely culprit, you have to look inside to see if it is the belt
