Problem for Frigidaire FAC107P1A Thru-Wall/Window Air Conditioner
Window unit not cooling properly, minimal cooling
the end of the thermostat seems bent or broken inside sleeve, could this be the problem. have not heard compressor cut on all day. first time this season on. At the end of last season didnt seem to be cooling well. live at the coast of NC. model # FAC107P1A bought 2007. Blower fan working fine. remote works. clean filter and clean outside vents

If the cap tube line for the thermostat is broken and has lost its charge, then the compressor won't run. You could try jumping out the control and see if the compressor will start.
