I have an e machine model t3265 it keeps just restarting i pressed the f11 button when i turn it on does nothing but keep restarting trying to get back to factory default help me please thank you also i...

Sorry to hear you're computer is acting up.

Turn the computer off.
When you turn the computer on tap the F8 key(at the top of the keyboard) once every second.
If you get the Advanced options screen choose Last known good configuration by using the arrow keys on your keyboard.

If the computer continues to reboot then do the F8 thing again but this time choose Do not reboot on system error(don't remember exact wording). If you're getting a blue screen, what is the STOP error code shown on the screen?

When I started my Acer Veriton Z290G for the first time it keeps repeating these: "Starting Windows" then "Setup is updating registry settings" then, ...

Windows was not installed correctly or it was corrupted by some dubious program. You will have to reinstall it , ideally using a separate Windows 7 install disk (not the recovery one, if you can find one) and using the key from the label on the bottom.

One of collegues pc keeps restarting randomly. The page goes black and then it restarts and login window comes up. Cable all seems fine. It's an HP machine, Windows XP SP3, 2GB RAM, Interl Core 2 Duo...

Only 2 possible reasons seem to be there either. Pull out the RAM From it slots blow it properly and re-install the RAM. Get a third party software for monitoring system heat. Monitor it and if processor heat going above normal then install one more fan to it.

HP dv8000 w/vista keeps restarting and the monitor is blackl

Try to boot into vista's safe mode, this can usually be done by pressing F8 after POST, but before you see the vista loading screen.

Once in safe mode go to:

Start > Control Panel > System

on the left you will see " Advanced System Settings " Click that

a new window will pop up with your system properties, click the " settings " button near " startup and recovery "

Make sure the little check-mark near " restart automaticly " is NOT check, then apply, and OK out of all screeens and reboot the system. If the problem persist, you may need to insert the Vista disk into your system, and do a recovery, or restore.

Restore emachine

Your machine has two ways of repair: SYSTEM RESTORE and SYSTEM RECOVERY. System restore is a Windows utility that rolls the machine back to a point where the machine worked before the problem. System recovery is an eMachines tool that puts the machine back the way it was when you first got it. Restore wont delete your data, recovery will and can. If the problem is catastrophic, and youve backed up your data off of the machine, use the recovery option. Your recovery partition (or a recovery disk) is needed to do this, and it involves pressing a key while the computer boots up. Check your documentation for your model of machine.
