HP F380 printer

I have installed a new colour ink cartridge for my printer but now when I print some lines/characters are printing properly and other lines/characters are printing very lightly. I have taken the cartridges out and checked them and put them back in the printer but the problem remains

Re: HP F380 printer

This happens when your print head gets dirty. Just claening the print head should solve your problem. To do this: Click start button > click Printers and faxes. > Right the printer icon > click properties > Here you should find something like "Head cleaning" or "Clean the print head". This option can be used to clean the priter head automatically. If it does not work, you can manualy take out the cartridge and dip it in to IPA (Isopropyle alcohol) solution would clean the head[dip the head only not the complete cartridge]. After a few minutes (10-20) you can fit the dry cartridge the printer. If nothing works try changing the cartridges. Note: When the ink is running out this may occur. The only thing we can do is to replace the cartridge.

HP all-in-one F380 only prints top half of the page, and sometimes that is pretty faded. What to do?

Replace the ink-cartridges, because they are just about empty.
When ink is pulled from the cartridge, there is just enough ink to print a "low-density" page,
or a few lines of text, but there's not enough ink to "freely" flow, on demand, to ink a full page.

`HP Deskjet F380 All-in-One Printer-Scanner-Copier E light is on seeming to refer to an ink cartridge issue. I installed new black and color ink cartridges. Light is still on and printer won't make...

Issue: Print Cartridge light is blinking

NOTE: In addition to the blinking light, an "E" might appear in the Copies area.

Close the print cartridge door.

The print cartridge door is open.

Installed new black ink cartridge per instructions. HP #56 - machine type hp psc 2210 all-in-one. Machine instructed how to run cartridge alignmet check. In all modes machine runs about one half check and...

to complete the alignment it needs to detect the lines printed from both the black and colour cartridges.maybe ur black cartridge is printing the necessary pattern but the colour is not printing so when it tries to read the colour paattern ,it cant read and cancels the alignment and ejects the paper will keep on doing this if it cannot read the both colour and black patterns.see to it that both ur cartridges are printing and working properly.

F380 deskjet - error - refuses to pront

I have this printer with the same problem , worked fine for 1 year, printed over 1600 pages total ( according to the built in HP program that records how many pages I printed and how many times I used the printer) then it stopped printing. The ink cartridges are new, the software is fine, and it says ink levels are good. It physically goes through the motions of printing, loads the paper, makes all the normal sounds it used to and pushes out the paper when it's done - but the page is blank. I did some surfing and read some info that some HP printers are pre-programmed to stop certain functions so you buy a new printer. I know that might sound crazy. How long have you had the printer and how many pages do you think you printed?

Printing photos

its ok I solved it! I didn't realise that all the photo cartridge does is gloss over the colour picture produced by the colour cartridge. I simply had to replace the colour cartridge which had run out, so now its all working perfectly!!

HP F380

Try cleaning your ink nozzles or ink jets. It sounds like you have a plugged nozzle or two. Your printer2.gif program2.gif should have maintenance options that allow you to test for plugged nozzles and clean them.

In control panel, open the printing/fax icon, right click on your printers4.gif icon, left click properties, then on the bottom of the page the panel that opens you will see a button that says printing preferences, and that should open your print1.gif program.

This will work for all printers, not just hp.
