Re: Java error

Hiya, this might help. Sometimes it can be a software problem. I downloaded loads of java stuff and my phone 'crashed' and the software needed updating which did the trick but lost me some of my java stuff. I found that my orange phone would not allow me to download orange java stuff and that I had to try an online company like mobilefun so it may be your tariff/provider or source of download that is the problem. Check what compatability you are downloading as not all games that were, will now be compatible as they often change to suit updated phones.

Re: Java error

Do you have enough space available on the phone? Try deleting some stuff.

When i try to install any jar file, it says that "failed.downloaded JAR are invalid". what do i do? plz help...

Please go through your mobile specifications to know that whether your mobile has 'Java' facility enabled. if your mobile has 'Java enabled than find out the download location of your mobile and whether the download location has enough space to download the application. If there is no not enough space to download the application than try changing the download location to a memory card and run the application from there.

If this solution was helpful for you please rate.

Everytime I download mxit on my D900i it says java game error I even bought A different simcard but it still says the same thing

Java game error is an application error and not a hardware error. So replacing the SIM card will never fix this problem. There's a possibility that the Java version that you have in your phone is not supported by the MXIT.

Verify the supported Java versions of MXIT. Then check the version of Java you have in your phone.

Try to upgrade the Java in your phone, then try to download the MXIT again. If same problem occur, try to download another application, and if it DOES work, then there's no problem with the phone. There could be a problem with the application (mxit) that you are trying to download.

Contacting the manufacturer for additional info is a good thing to do as well.

Thank you and good luck!

Samsung SGH-J210 Java app download error

This error may be because of
1. the JAR file size limit on your cellphone.
2. the file itself is corrupt.
3. the file has install site locked. (some java games can only be downloaded and installed from a particular site)

Samsung SGH-D600 "Install error"

you need to reset your phone, that might solve the problem. a full master reset should work.

Greetings Beertjie, Even though the Samsung X830 does offer Java support, one can't download and install new Java applications on the phone - only the pre-installed Java applications will work on the phone. It is therefore (because MXit is a Java application) unfortunately not possible to make a version of MXit for the Samsung X830. Samsung South Africa have updated their website and now no longer list Java support as one of the X830's features (previously incorrectly listed). This further confirms that the Samsung X830 doesn't offer Java support: Regards, MXit_Team
