It's called a TORX screw. You can purchase a universal driver with assorted TORX bits at Sears, Home Depot, Lowe's and probably your local hardware store.

Yes. These are now common drivers. All hardware stores, home depot, lowes have them. They do come in sizes so you may want to get a set or take a very good look at the screws you need to work on so you get the correct size.

You can buy a Phillips Star Head or a Torx Screwdriver at any hardware shop (Yes, like Home Depot).

What kind of screwdriver do I use to take apart my onkyo rc-602m apart

Just look at the screws involved - usually they will be 'star' ones and sometimes very small as well as medium.
Therefore get a good set of 'star' screwdrivers for your repair toolkit!

K2.950 what screwdriver do I need to remove the back casing

Karcher machines are normally star bit screw drivers. You may need a cross head/phillips (depends what you call it) screw driver to take off a handle if there is one.

please thumbs up, thanks.

Handle on bottom freezer door is loose. Screw on bottom of handle appears to be neither a philips or flathead screw. just seems like a teeny tiny rivet.. Inside the handle is a floating "ball"...

Hello, You need to look at the screw at the bottom of the handle. I know this is difficult to do; however, you have to establish what type of inset screw you have to faster. Most probably, it is a four or five star screw. You have to have a certain head screwdriver in order to turn the screw in order to secure the handle. When you identify the head of the screw -- as in four or five head screw -- place the screw driver into the screw and turn until it is firm.
If this does not work, refer to the manufacturer's manual to find a solution.
Hope this works for you. Dana

Same problem

Probably a Torx, square or star driver or bit. A very small flat screwdriver at an angle may work if you can catch one of the edges of the "star" shape.

Is it a recessed star, or a raised star? If it is recessed, the tool is called torx. Most of your better tool suppliers will have them. The raised star.... I cant help you.
