Where can you get a screwdriver for the star screws? (HomeDepot?) Thanks

Use a impact driver and make sure it's a Philips and not a posidrive

Just look at the screws involved - usually they will be 'star' ones and sometimes very small as well as medium.
Therefore get a good set of 'star' screwdrivers for your repair toolkit!

you need a torx/star screwdriver

x308 is a xj saloon if that is what you have the little star screw you can remove with a small screwdriver its there so you can get the car out of park if for example you have a flat battery and have to push or get recovered you just push your key or a small screwdriver in to release the gearchange

Karcher machines are normally star bit screw drivers. You may need a cross head/phillips (depends what you call it) screw driver to take off a handle if there is one.

Hello, You need to look at the screw at the bottom of the handle. I know this is difficult to do; however, you have to establish what type of inset screw you have to faster. Most probably, it is a four or five star screw. You have to have a certain head screwdriver in order to turn the screw in order to secure the handle. When you identify the head of the screw -- as in four or five head screw -- place the screw driver into the screw and turn until it is firm.
If this does not work, refer to the manufacturer's manual to find a solution.

Probably a Torx, square or star driver or bit. A very small flat screwdriver at an angle may work if you can catch one of the edges of the "star" shape.

Just get a set small star screw drivers.

Is it a recessed star, or a raised star? If it is recessed, the tool is called torx. Most of your better tool suppliers will have them. The raised star.... I cant help you.
