Re: Konica Page Pro 1350 - Not printing from DOS

When you install your printer, you may notice an message asking whether you want to print from DOS based programs. If you answer yes You could print from DOS based programes too. To do this you may need to unistall and re-install your printer again ! If it doesn't work you should download any ultility from the internet to get the printer supported on DOS.

Hi i have pagepro1300w to be install in windows7. can you advise me with installation?

Despite initial appearances, Windows 7 supports this printer directly.
Click the launch (start) button, and go to devices and printers
add printer
Choose the port it's attached to
if the port isn't listed because the printer isn't hooked up, just choose LPT1 for now
Click on Konika Minolta and then click the WINDOWS UPDATE button ****IMPORTANT*** if you don't click Windows update, your printer will NOT be in the printers list.
there may now be 2 Konika Minolta listings on the left, choose the one that has more than 1 printer in it
The papgepro 1300W will now magically be in the list - choose it, and hit next
Follow the prompts and share the printer if you need to, or not if your computer is the only one using it, and on the screen after that, choose whether or not you want this printer to be the default printer
After the driver is installed, if you chose the right port already you can go ahead and print a test page.
If not, don't print a test page, and finish the installation, then plug in the printer - it should come up as new hardware, but now you have the driver for it and it should default to it during the installation.
You will now have 2 copies of the print driver if you didn't have the right port the first time, Either set the new driver as the default, or delete the first one you installed on LPT1: after the installation completes
If you just put the driver in for the right port, go ahead and print a test page.

You're done!

Konica Minolta 1350 printer won't print with Vista

Also try turning spooler OFF/ON. Also, try turning 1350 OFF/ON. Those sometimes work. But 1350 had same problem with W98SE so must be a problem in 1350 software(?). I got so tired of this that I bought a Canon MFC which works perfectly. Still use 1350 to use up the toner.

Printer error message when tried to print test page

You are going to need SP2 to run many applications, doing system restore to before SP2 setup will make SP2 unusable.

If you can install, the printer on a different plug. Uninstall and re-install drivers as suggested on other post, afterward connect printer to new port, drivers will work differently.

You can also try this:

Disconnect printer.

Remove drivers

Uninstall sp2

restart pc

re install SP2

Download and install latest drivers

connect printer

In this way there are less chanches for driver interfeering with sp2. Use last driver version, older drivers may not work well on sp2.

If this had been helpful vote my solution in the other thread. Thanks

Hp 1350 psc alignment page

OOh dear your printer has a little confusion gnome!!!, i am assuming it is attatched to pc, you have to start by resetting it. Take out the cartridge. Close printer and turn it off. Unplug it, remove all cables. Now, take 3 deep breaths, replug all cables, turn it on and wait for pc to recognise it. It will reset it for you. Now, try printing normally again. Re-post if this does not fix it.
