Question about ViewSonic VG910S (Black, Silver) 19" LCD Monitor
I have thsi viewsonic monitor went it goes on it get to brite then normal then afer 10 second the colors looks to brite on the desktop looks like animated images colors become strong looking like negative or like evrething was drawn with crayon hot brite color drawing it make you blind just by looking at it i dont now if the this kind monitor have hight voltage and that might be damage and over powereing the lcd monitor to give you brite blindnes colors irepir few monitor before but i dont now wich board i have to replace so it can bee good again your help be helpful for me thnks :) Oscar
You must focus to mainboard of LCD monitor find the voltage regulator IC. Voltage test the regulator IC use digital or analog multimeter range 10v dc connect the negative to cold ground, these regulator providing a constant supply of 2.5 - 5v to all IC in the mainboard. check the scalar IC. Because scalar IC will convert analog input signal of Red, Green & Blue. Lastly check the controller board, check the ribbon cable connector from mainboard to
controller board for lose, check the fuse inside controller. I think the exact problem of your monitor could be either the (mainboard) or (LCD panel where the controller board is located).
