Kodack dc120 camara

I have pictures on memory card in camara. I got them over to PC but they are .kdc format. How do I convert to .jpeg or a format that I can open the pictures. I downloaded the latest "easyshare" software from Kodak but it does not seem to address this? Need your help. Thanks

Do a Google search by typing in .kdc to discover what file type it is and therefore any conversion software out there. Also download irfanview this has a broad range of capability.

I went to Walmart to print off pictures from my SD card and it says there are no pics on it, yet when I view from my camera, I have over 600 of them. How do I print pictures off my camera?

Does your camera show the pictures without the SD card installed?
Maybe the camera has an internal memory also. If not, they are likely being stored in the wrong format.

Insert card into your card reader slot on your pc or adapter. Once it registers go to Start>Computer and find your card. Rt click on that and click format.

I took the memory stick out of the camara and plugged it into a card reader for the computer. When I put it back in the camara some of the pictures were corrupted (file error). How do I get the pictures...

one suggestion is if they are still on the card, load them into your computer then open with a picture editing software and save them back to the card as a jpeg image.i have found this to work for me in many cases.hope this helps.

Damaged and Corrupted picture

sounds like your computer is not recognizing the proper format the pictures are saved in.My XP doesn't have a problem reading them(.jpeg), but after 8 cards...not the card, which leaves either the camera or computer...I have experienced some image formats not compatible with some computer programs, but have not ran into this problem with these cameras.

My camera kodak easyshare C1013 cannot show pictures. it says "unrecognised file format"..i need help

The camera stores the pictures in a JPEG format only. You can use .jpg files in most image editing programs. Videos are stored in a .mov format that you can view with QUICKTIME software or KODAK Picture Software.

* What you can do is transfer the pictures to your computer and check the file format
* You can delete photo then just take a photo again.

Unrecognized file format means the file format of the picture in the camera is not JPEG or the memory card is faulty

Camara says memory card full, yet when i transfer no pictures

Have you initialised the cards before use? if not you can do that by formatting the cards through Windows. Try it and see if that works. Use NTSC Format.

Pictures not accessible on memory card

Nope. Ur memory card might have been formated by the camera with a different file system.
So use your camera to access your pics and to transfer to PC.

Digital camara and memory card

Basically picture files in memory card have corrupt data that's why computer doesn't recognize it.
HP recommends following action...
Close the HP Image Zone or HP Photosmart Software, disconnect the camera from the computer, and reset the camera. (can see this at HP Support)
2nd option is to find some memory card data recovery software on internet and use it to correct data files in memory card.
Thank you.

Control Panel Display

The display can only show 3 numbers, so when the memory card can hold over 1000 pictures you will see a "1.0" with a little "K" above and to the right of the 0. Let's say that you have a 2gig memory card and you have your picture quality set to JPEG Normal, you might see 1.0 indicating 1000 available image spots available. If you set to JPEG basic it will say 1.9 meaning 1.9 thousand or 1900 images. With a 2gig card you will see it drop below 1000 if you set your quality to RAW or JPEG fine.
