Dvd does not work

Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing.code(39) slimtype dvd ds81p ata device. is the info I have. Where can I get a driver to see if this is the problem. I formated my hard drive and when I tried to reinstall Vesta, I found that my dvd doesn't work, how can i fix it with a slip drive?
