That is a 15 year old dryer and I would not pay or sell for more that $100 for it. Possibly even less depending on how clean it looks.

Check for a blocked vent. If the vent is blocked or restricted it will cause the thermo fuse to blow. If the thermo fuse is not blown check for a broken heating element. I hope this may help.

It is dangerous to do but you have to turn dryer on while it is apart and wait for limit to open up, then test. !st make sure all connections are ok. The clips and the nuts all need to be tight. If any look dark or burnt that may be your weak link. If you are sure that everything is else is working ok, a set of high limit switches is not very expensive. The voltage is 220 so if your careful you can test at each junction, but be careful..

Check the timer, that is usually what causes that problem...


That is not that hard to fix and you can easily buy the parts yourself online...

does it have drum light ?if so is it working ?if not and bulb is good raise top by pressing clips at each corner on back is heating element.. on element case is thermal fuse with 2 white wires it could be open part# la-1053 ( i think)..if light is on but still no operation possible timer or door switch
