You can get it to scan.. only in the computer where it is locally connected. Scan will not be available for sharing in the network.

You should scan first your computer for spywares, probably those are the main reasons why you cant access other sites. use a spyware scanner to scan your system.

check driverguide.com it has drivers for many cameras i m sure it also has dxg-538 download the driver, maybe then you will be able to scan pictures to your computer.

You have to connect the mfc directly to a USB port of your computer. DO NOT use a hub.

The mfc uses the XP buil-in scan driver.

Did you install the whole mfl-pro suite? Use paperport to do scanning from your pc.
