Question about RCA OPAL M4001 MP3 Player

Screen is magnetized

I went camping and took some small speakers with me and plugged them in. The next day the bottom corner was dark. I thought it was magnetized and would last months but the next day after that the whole screen was dark and has been since. How do I fix that?

I am getting a bright blue patch in the bottom left corner of the TV. Is this an indication that the "brain" is going out and is going to need to be replaced soon??

no the tv needs to be de-magnetized.it could be coming from you tv speakers{the magnets on the back of the speaker cone}.or if you have hifi speakers next to your speakers.

V3 never registers when I close it, battery is being wasted!

You forgot to replace a small magnet that goes in the upper right corner of the cover (when closed) next to the screen. Try to put a magnet in the circular hole.

Red rainbow in bottom left corner of my tv and the screen is blury

If you have a speaker or anything else magnetic near that corner move it away. It may take a few days for the built in degausing coil to de-magnetize it but it should go away it that's what caused it.

Philips Magnavox 27MT5405 TV problem with color

hi sir that thing hapen when the magnetic field around the screen is varies evry time the tv set is switched off then on after an hour may be , it comes to its normal magnetic field state and when not so there are two reasons 1- check for around the tv for any magnetic items ,speakers , cassette recorder or any magnetic motors clear the around electric items if not working after an hour of reset then refer to 2 2- there is an electronic element inside calles PTC it should be deffect it is a small three legs element and is giving the first power to the colis around the screen to make proper magnetic field check it by qualified person please please don't forget to rate the solution and remember i am here at your service regards ]

Screen green and purple in two corners

I am in agreement with the second solution. TVs, when moved from one location to another have a tendency to show color patches in the corners. A few days of usage, and the auto degaussing circuits will clear the problem. Also make sure that there are no Magnet Sources nearby (Un sheilded Speakers, some Power supply of amplifiers, A 2-in-1 music system, your kids walky-talky toy, etc.) Pravin
