have the fault codes read to check for reason it is in limp mode. Fix any faults found and use the scanner to reset the ECM program as the dead battery may have corrupted the program
This fault is low pump pressure. more than likely you have some foreign particles jammed in the circulation pump. you would have to remove the unit, tip it on its side and remove the bottom plate and remove the circulation pump and clear the blockage. the unit will start and stop and not work until the pump is clear.
Hi, this is a bit basic, try turning of for about 1/2 hour, to enable to discharge, then try again.
( I have used this on industrial installations, with far to complex computers stuff inside, and that mainly works)
NOTE: Some Status codes will not clear even though the problem has been fixed. Status codes that will not clear must be manually reset using the 'Fault Reset 14 Procedure'.
Locate the [C] (Clear) button on the Control Panel, at the far right.
Locate the Image Quality button, below the Auto on the Control Panel, toward the left side.
Press the buttons in the following sequence within 4 seconds. Press [C] (Clear), press [Image Quality], press [C] (Clear) again, press [Image Quality] again.
The error code should disappear. If the Status code does not clear, repeat step 3 until the status code clears; but no more than five times.
Use the [10] and [1] buttons to enter 14 on the Display Screen, as if you were to make 14 copies.
Press the [Start] button. The machine should be ready to use.
Make a copy, to check that the machine is working properly
You unit is stuck in the "Display Model Mode". Hold the stop/clear button for at lest five seconds in insure the interlock activates. If it does not activate then the electronic range control (erc) is not functioning. Replace the erc (Clock/Display.)
What caused the power outage? Check the outdoor disconnect to the condenser unit. The fuses may have blown, causing the heat pump to not function and depending on the aux. heat to carry the load.
If you are certain that all pipes are clear, then you may wish to check the pressure pot & pressure switch ( & small hose joining the two as this could be telling lies to the program unit. If the machine is emptying but the switch fails to read the level correctly, it can cause the same sort of error problem.
Pressure pots can fill with the "grey soap gunk" and switches pressure are a reletively common fault also.
Good luck
**Power outage now I get a read out**
