Milky oil indicates coolant is getting into the oil . These engines are know for intake manifold gasket problems .

Milky oil How to tell if your oil is milky

Milky-looking oil is a sign of water mixed-in with the oil. This is often a sign of severe engine damage (cracked block, cracked head) in a water-cooled engine. (i.e., one having internal water jackets such as a car engine). On a pressure washer it is sometimes an indication that the owner used the pressure washer on itself, i.e., so as to clean the pressure washer with the pressure washer - very bad idea. If this is the case, then the pressure washer is most likely ruined. In any case the milky-looking oil is a sign that the oil has become contaminated with water, and probably a lot of water. I would drain the oil completely and replace the oil filter too if it has one, then refill the crankcase with new oil. Then try using it again for 10 or 15 minutes or so, then reinspect the oil. If it's milky-looking again then I'd set it out at the curb on trash day.

It is almost impossible for the engine oil to become "milky" under normal circumstances. If you have changed the oil and have used the wrong type, it may become aerated and appear milky. The only other way for water to be added to the sump is through the oil filler. I doubt this is the case as it is a neglect thing and indicates that someone has run the machine without the oil filler caps. Hopefully this is not the case, but as the engine has a low oil level sensor, it might be the reason why it wont start. It's a safety device.
There is no way that the engine oil can be contaminated by water from the pressure pump.
If you mean that the water pump oil is milky, this means that the seals have failed between the pump and the transmission. Difficult to check in a G2500. If this is the case the machine has probably been used beyond the manufacturer's intent and has overheated.

check engine oil in crankcase sound like leaking headgasket which will cause engine overheating.if engine oil looks milky have blowed head gasket if engine oil dont look milky.do a oil change and filter change replace thermostat see what happens.

Milky colour in the radiator means that the engine has overheated and the head gasket is blown and might need replacement after skimming the cylinder head.The milky colour is oil in the engine mixing with water that cools the engine

milky oil in commodore enigine or any engine is the sign off leaking head gaskets or cracked cylinder heads and the coolant and oil are mixing which is the cause of the milky coloured oil

if your car ony doing short runs it builds up condensation and gives your oil milky effect
or there is water getting into it
solution give car a good long run and the water should evaporate when engine well warmed up
other wise check water level make sure not losing water in to engine oil

Check your oil and see if it is milky lookinig...that is a sign of a bad haed gasket....here is the location of the thermostat...unless a different engine size...then post what you have and I'll get you the diagram here:
