Replacing STK392-110 IC Panasonic PT-51HX41 51 in. Rear Projection Television?

I'm in the process of replacing my two STK392-110 IC . However there are 4 white connectors connecting the two boards together. Whats the best way to disconnect or pop these out without any damage? I've removed all the connectors on one side. I'm in a position to remove the left board but only these 4 connector chips are holding me back. Any thoughts or help would be appreciated.

Hi TVtech.. Chips have been replaced and convergence is FIXED... Thanks

However when I watch TV now I get a BLACK box in the middle of the screen. This shows up watching TV or my VCR.. however DVD's they play fine.. Any ideas? The black box goes away temporarily when I click on the menu guide or if I turn the volume up or down. When I change channels it clears for 2 secs and then it pops up again... thanks for your help so far!

Just put something under the connector (like a screwdriver)and lift up....they are very sturdy and I have never had one break for me.

If there is enough to grab hold of you can lift it by the tab....otherwise just gently lift it up by going underneath, you will see it move (on the right)

You have CC (closed captioning) turned on and it is in text mode...just go to the menu and turn it off.

TV Tech - well another issue has cropped up today. The TV turns on for about 15 secs and then automatically shuts off. Seems like a power supply issue but not sure.. Your thoughts?

Check the vertial output IC. either for defective solder or defective IC. This model has a feature if the vertical output IC fails for any reason the picture tubes blank out as a safety issue.Thereby giving no picture but audio still functions.
