My DE500P Delinghi dehumififier won't remove air moisture. I tested the pump and it is fine. Water flows easily thruoghout. As does air (filters clear). The comressor runs (gets warmer during operation) but the coils are not gathering moisture.
This happened to me after the unit was turned on after being off all winter. I've had it just two years. After speaking with "support" I gather that it needs a new condenser, perhaps just because the freon may have escaped. It may be a sealed unit. Anyway, the math works out to simply discarding it and buying a new one. For me, this means not buying a DeLonghi. By the way, their service centers are strategically placed in remote areas to attract the fewest claims HD

Delonghi DE500p has flashing error code E1 Why and How to fix? I unplugged sensor behind grill/filter on right side and got flashing error codes E2-E1-E2-E1, etc. Replaced sensor and I am back to just E1 so it does not appear this sensor is the problem. It appears E1 has something to do with the measurement of the room relative humidity because it never changes from 90 and the humidifier compressor runs constantly.
