have you tried to reset it while it is connected to power? And did anything significant happen before the ipod failed?

Sounds like the logic board is broken if it doesn't turn on with any chargers or any computers. You can try to replace the motherboard yourself, the part is available on any auction website. There is an iPod classic Repair service that can fix it for you. There is an iPod classic repair guide that can show you how to do the repair yourself.
