The CD player is still skipping after I used the lens cleaner. What do I need to do next?
Thank you very much.

Try using no faster than a 40x disk. Maybe 40x is still too fast but seems to work for most of the time.

The DVD transport rides on chrome rails. These get dust and stuff on them and wont allow the optics to track.
If you dare, open the unit UNPLUGGED from the AC.
See if you can get at those rails easily. clean with WD40 on a swab. clean with a new swab . then a couple drops of mystery oil on a swab and run down the rails over and under.
You must be VERY gentle if you clean the lens with isopropyl
