Bluetooth I was about to buy a Canon BU-20 bluetooth printer adapter for my Pixma MP500, then I took a second look at it. Maybe I'm stupid but my printer has a square type USB port and the adapter has a flat normal flat USB plug - this looks a bit like a sqare peg in a round hole. So what am I missing? Both are made by Canon and the BU-20 is recomended for my printer by Canon, how does this work? Ive checked the Canon help files and they tell me nothing. Andy

Sounds like you need a usb 2.0 A-B cable type. works with all makes and models.

The usb adapter plugs in on the front right hand side in the normal usb socket not on the back where the usb printer cable goes. from memory i think it is behind a little door where the card reader is.

The adapter is plugged in front USB connector, not the one for the cable, from behind.

My MP500 has a normal flat USB plug in.  Turn off your printer and just try plugging in a normal USB cable into that slot...You can use the printer cable if you want. Haven't rec'd the BU20 yet, but don't think it will be a problem.
