Question about Instant Cameras
I need a users manual ( I am borrowing this) And do these cameras need battery changing? I can not find a place to do so on the camera Thanks Nat T

HI: I once owned a polaroid similar to your unit. the film comes with batteries to power the camera. Once the film is loaded the camera should be active. Good firstname.lastname@example.org

The batteries that power the 600 format cameras are in the film pack, not in the camera. When you insert a new film pack, you're installing new batteries at the same time. hope this helped

there is no battery in the camera. the battery comes from the film. the film has a battery in it already. you MUST have film in the camera for the light to go on and the flash to go off. all polaroid camera's are the same. you must have the film in the camera for it to work.

Change the photo pack. That's where the battery is located, you get a fresh battery with every pack.
Note that all remaining photo packs are now beyond their expiry dates as production ceased last year so many will have flat batteries or batteries with insufficient charge to last for the full ten shots. There's no fix for this: all that can be done is to rig up an external battery pack but there is no standard kit for this so it's very much a DIY project. the camera draws 4.5v and the standard battery was 6v when freshly manufactured.
