I have 2 G RAM, a graphics card with 512 MB DDR, a Pentium 4 with 1.80
GHz, and an internet connection speed of approx 6 Mps, but I still lag
a LOT on WoW. Admittedly, I am not that great with computers, but my
friend has basically the same specs and he can run WoW with everything
turned up and never lags. I have all the in-game settings as low as
they will go and have set everything I can find on my computer to
"performance over quality" or its variation. Is there some setting
somewhere that I may have missed that will fix this?
Assuming you mean a bad framerate and not actual 'lag', the problem
would appear to exist in your processor, as it is old and outdated. and
only just fits the minimum requirements to RUN THE GAME, not run the
game well.
